Spotlight on
Christmas aims to bring the true meaning of Christmas to children. The program
involves many from Doncaster East Uniting Church and the local community and
caters for 150 children each week.
This year Spotlight will take the form of a Christmas Carnival as our
outreach to families in our community.
This will be a one day event to be held on Sunday afternoon December 21st
starting around 2.30 - 3 pm. The day will involve staging a number of
stalls, games and craft activities in the grounds (similar to the Spring Fair
but with a Christmas theme). The afternoon will conclude about 5pm with a
short time of carols and story in the church, followed by a sausage
sizzle.
